English Locust

Imagine if Bob Dylan was goth and you've got The English Locust. He brings together folk, Latin music and Delta blues with humorous stories from his years in the trenches of the Wellington music scene. Expect strange tales of mysterious strippers, kidnappings and punch ups in public toilets. 

Planet 

Bagpipes, Excitement and Rock 'n' Roll. Words you don't often hear in the same sentence. Planet mixes traditional bagpipe airs, post punk riffs and a dollop of vaudevillian good humour. It could be world music, it could be underground indie rock. It could be psychedelic folk music. But it's always approachable and a lot of fun. 

Vic Manuel and the Manuelitos 

Vic Manuel and the Manuelitos are a Wellington based group playing the eclectic songs of Vic Manuel, with an impressive line up of local and International artists. Vic Manuel was born in London 1953, moved to OZ in 1954, taught himself guitar at age 12 and has been writing and playing solo and with many bands and still going.
