A producer, DJ and founder of the influential independent labels Jazz Fudge and King Dada Sounds, Vadim’s sound pulls from hip hop, soul, reggae, dub, jazz and bass music, stitched together with a style that has remained unmistakably his own since the early days of trip hop and Ninja Tune.
Since emerging in the mid-90s, Vadim has built a worldwide reputation as a fearless musical innovator, releasing more than 30 albums and touring relentlessly across clubs, festivals and soundsystems around the globe. His long-running relationship with Ninja Tune helped establish him as one of the defining producers of the era, while collaborations with artists including Stevie Wonder, The Roots, Prince, Public Enemy and DJ Krush further cemented his reputation as a boundary-pushing creative force.
