NOPILOT return to the stage this July with special guests Imperial April and PAPERWAVES.
Off the back of their first two singles The Middle and What Am I Doing Here? the band are fired up and ready to put on a show to remember. Drawing inspiration from the likes of The Killers, Wet Leg, and Inhaler, NOPILOT boasts energetic, melodic Rock music that has seen them quickly rise in popularity in the New Zealand music scene.


Delivering guitar-heavy power pop that is sure to get stuck firmly in your head, Imperial April might be New Zealand’s sweetest grunge band. Bursting onto the scene during the global standstill of the pandemic, the side project of alt/pop act and production duo The Response is dominated by the captivating vocals of bassist Victoria Knopp, jangly guitars and ‘90s pop-rock leanings. Their debut single Peachy set the stage with its infectious energy and biting vocals, garnering comparisons to Courtney Love, The Beths, and Garbage.

PAPERWAVES from Christchurch, New Zealand, are a four-piece indie band blending shimmering guitars, driving rhythms, and introspective lyricism into a sound that feels both nostalgic and modern. Formed in 2024 their sun soaked indie sound has been honed into songs that move from hazy verses to soaring, cathartic choruses.
Known for their tight live shows and understated presence, they’ve built a loyal following across local venues. Their music reflects the contrast of their surroundings: coastal calm meets city restlessness, resulting in a sound that’s honest, atmospheric, and distinctly their own.
