The Undercurrent presents Kai Smith!
After an independent sabbatical playing music across Asia last year, West Auckland saxophonist Kai Smith has come back to New Zealand with a fresh mind full of inspiration, creativity and a library of songs based on various incidents along the way.
Playing alongside his Wellington friends Ateo Buhne (drums), Theo Thompson (guitar) and Evie Patterson (bass), Kai and his quartet will be playing these compositions for the first time ever, so please come and enjoy this special night of music!
Celebrating a Journey Through Asia through original compositions and closing it with some favourite standards with friends.
