Trauma Party And The Death Spell

The Aotearoa underground music scene is preparing for a massive sonic collision. Waiheke Island post-punk juggernauts Trauma Party are teaming up with Auckland heavy-psych rock trio The Death Spell for an unforgettable co-headlining tour.

TRAUMA PARTY
Trauma Party have quickly earned a reputation for delivering a post-punk desert storm. Merging raw garage punk energy with spiky post-punk and subversive pop sensibilities, they are hitting the road in support of their acclaimed 2026 debut EP Because You've Been Good.

THE DEATH SPELL
Formed in Auckland in 2021, The Death Spell brings a deep, vintage weight to the tour. Founded by Turkish guitarist and vocalist Oz, the power trio features a heavy-hitting rhythm section with Boot (ex-Sticky Filth) on drums and Bruno (ex-Ratso) on bass. Having crashed the international Doom Charts Top 10 with their self-titled debut, they've now captured their thunderous live energy on the 2025 concert release Second Dawning: Live in Tāmaki Makaurau. Expect massive riffs, deep fuzz, and psychedelic occult imagery.

STEFAN X
We are stoked to welcome Stefan X, originally from Taranaki, to join us on the road. Stefan X played guitar in many punk rock bands over the years, from Red Hot Pussy Liquor to Hateseeker and many more. Stefan currently resides in Tāmaki Makaurau and is working on his debut solo album, due for release later this year. He is opening the show with a full energy stripped back solo set. Arrive early to catch this gritty, vibrant punk rocker.

Hollow Ground are all set to rip it up on their home turf. A powerful blend of hard rock and punk, with a melodic groove that sets them apart. Catchy hooks, heavy riffs, and solid beats to get you out on the dance floor!
