As part of Wellington Jazz Festival, The Undercurrent presents Hupstein Eng and Friends!

Join Upper Hutt guitarist and vocalist Hupstein Eng and an all-star band for an evening of swinging vocal jazz inspired by the timeless music of Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, and Chet Baker. Featuring Freddy Sayer (piano), Jacob Meikle (bass), Aaron McDaniel (drums), and special guests, the group brings the Great American Songbook to life with bouncy swing, lyrical improvisation, and playful musical interaction. Expect fresh takes on beloved jazz standards, plenty of spontaneity, and an intimate performance that celebrates the joy of live jazz.
