Velveteen Shakes - The Book Of Velveteen Album Release Show

Celebrating the release of his debut album The Book of Velveteen is Tāmaki Makaurau-based multi-instrumentalist and funk showman Velveteen Shakes. Backed by a powerhouse band of some of the finest local musical talent, Velveteen Shakes blends classic funk and soul with modern pop and rock edge and energy, evidenced by album singles Swimming In The Night, Neurotica, Let It Rain, and The Cosmic Gospel. With support from Kirikiriroa soul/R&B singer Kyla Greening, this is sure to be an unforgettable night of groove, soul and gritty funk.
