Fronted by songwriter John McDougall, Simple Animal is a group of Wellington musicians who have been writing and performing original music since the 1980s - and that includes songs of heartache, protest, love, and silliness. Songs that reflect the wide, wild, and weird lives we live. Simple Animal has a new album coming out, with John Niland (keys), Annie Ruddock (vocals), Stephen Jessup (guitar), Murray Costello (bass), and Tim Robinson on drums.
