Tour Information
Apertures is the duo of Iulia Boșcu (Romania) and Will Gresson (Aotearoa New Zealand). Together they perform dense ambient/drone soundscapes, incorporating field recordings to situate their music into real spaces and lived experience. Outside of Apertures the pair have been active since 2016, working across multiple disciplines involving visual art, publishing and sound with a focus on climate and environmental tensions. Their sound installation work has been shown at Audio Foundation, Te Tuhi (Tāmaki Makaurau), Nine Fathom Deep (Te Whanganui-a-Tara), Sluice (London/Seyðisfjörður) and MATCA (Cluj-Napoca). An archive of their work is available at withoutappeal.org.

Alter Natural (aka Nathan Carter of The Temple) is a sound, music, and multi-media artist who strives to immerse the audience in feelings of the sublime – beauty, immensity, drama, wonder, intrigue, mystery, tranquility, joy. In his music, this takes the form of cathartic soundscapes, propulsive EDM grooves, and visually inspired sound design. https://www.alternatural.nz/

Juniper May is the solo project of Pōneke artist Lora May. Using an SP-404, she channels and transfigures samples of found sounds, synths and field recordings into melodic, distant and estranged pop songs.
