The Undercurrent presents Grove!

Presenting their debut live performance at The Undercurrent Bookstore, 'Grove' bring forward a superb selection of their newest and most beautiful works. With pointed attention to detail and gentle craft of songwriting, Grove showcase an insightful blend of poetic storytelling and pristine musical arrangement. Influence from chamber folk and classic indie music scenes moves the band through a soft, sophisticated, and smooth instrumental sound. Intimate yet powerful vocal fronting decorates the mature but playful folk foundations of the group.

To open the night, Grove welcome singer songwriter Ben Kenny to join them at The Undercurrent. Ben Kenny displays a collection of heartfelt and emotional tunes in his performance, balancing perfectly a sentimental songwriting style with delightful, fun, and relatable connection to his audience.

After performing together around Wellington and at Cuba Dupa this year, Grove re-emerge under their new moniker with purpose, and with this exhibition of their fresh sound.
