Strings & Needles - Doco Fundraiser Gig

HEATHER☆FOREVER PRESENTS...

STRINGS & NEEDLES is an independent documentary project about young transgender musicians in Te Whanganui-a-Tara, underscored by the rising tensions of anti-trans politics in the parliamentary buildings right in earshot of Wellington's transgender population. It seeks to investigate the intersection of trans art and activism, and highlight the exciting, radical scene(s) of alternative music active within the city.

We are holding a gig in order to raise money for the project and the artists participating in this show and given their time for interviews. We plan to film to this evening as the project's last major shoot -- so please come along and support us and the artists!!! Feel free to bring a camera!!!
