The Mentalist Collective 'Battles For A Subtle End' Album Launch

5 piece indie/folk/rock band, The Mentalist Collective has been on the Dunedin circuit since 2014. Consisting of 4 singer-songwriters and a drummer, they are known for 3 and 4-part vocal harmonies and swapping instruments every second song to deliver a range of lush indie-folk songs with the occasional hard rock edge.

This night is the launch of their sophomore album, 'Battles for a Subtle End', recorded by the band (mainly Brendan) during 2026, and produced by the legendary Hugh Harlow. But it is also a farewell to longtime member Rob Milne, who is ditching across the ditch. They'll be playing all songs from their new album as well as a few of Rob's special requests.
