2014’s X-Factor Australia runner-up Dean Ray is back out on the road, this time bringing himself and an acoustic guitar to New Zealand in August for shows in Christchurch, Auckland, and Wellington.
2014 was a massive year for Dean – his debut single, ‘Coming Back’, and self-titled album both went Top 5 on the national ARIA Singles and Album Chart respectively and his debut album was certified Gold within weeks of its release.

“I’ve been called mysterious, intense, confusing, crazy and captivating. How’s that for diversity'!” laughs Dean. “I’m really just a guy with a guitar and a story to tell who loves what he does” Dean said.

Dean has been on tour since the beginning of the year, having over 50 live gigs already under his belt in 2015. The response to Dean Ray’s live performance has been overwhelming, leaving both industry and fans alike in awe.

Dean Ray’s music is starting to resonate far beyond Australian shores after hugely successful showcases at Singapore’s Music Matters Live conference, which is widely regarded as the golden key to the Asian music market. He is currently riding a wave of success in Canada with his single ‘Coming Back’ sitting comfortably in the No.1 chart position on WKND radio.
