He makes his first trip to New Zealand with long-term cohorts The Pink Monkey Birds for a night of raw, sonic ambrosia featuring a heady mix of fuzz guitars, New Orleans drum beats and bass lines dripping with soul, not to mention also dipping into tunes from the Cramps and Gun Club. And referencing the Gun Club - Kid was a founding member of that special group, performing at both their first and last shows
