Jazz Club - Tribute To Cole Porter

Conceived by Bruce Brown and Greg Crayford, the Cole Porter Tribute was initially instigated as a reinterpretation concert and album project featuring the vocal talents of Wellington’s own Lisa Tomlins combined with Bruce Conceived by Bruce Brown and Greg Crayford, the Cole Porter Tribute was initially instigated as a reinterpretation concert and album project featuring the vocal talents of Wellington’s own Lisa Tomlins combined with Bruce’s creative arrangements. Unfortunately Bruce’s ill-health combined with overseas travel have seen him pull out (for this event) but the baton has been handed to that veritable institution of local jazz, Terry Crayford, jazz/musical theatre/opera songstress, Ruth Armishaw and multi-instrumentalist, Dan Yeabsley. The project has morphed into a themed concert. Come and hear one of the 20th century’s more prolific composer's material, immersing yourself in this great ensemble’s interpretations.
