Tour Information
In association with Ambient Light, Muzic.net.nz and Under The Radar, Armed In Advance are excited to announce ‘The Little Big Show’. On December 8, AIA will bring their big sound and performance to one of their favourite, intimate little venues in Auckland, with their new friends Fallstate and Animalhead.

Since releasing their debut full length record ‘Change/Evolve’ in October 2016, Armed In Advance have barely found time to take a breath, touring the country multiple times, playing festivals and opening for some of NZ’s biggest bands. Following the release of their first follow up single ‘Pain’ (#2 in iTunes sales upon it’s release, now with well over 40,000 streams across all platforms), and the unmitigated success that was The Auckland City Rockfest, Armed In Advance have been tirelessly cultivating new material to bring to the stage from their upcoming release. The band are excited to debut multiple new songs at ‘The Little Big Show’, with a healthy slab of old favourites to back them up at Backbeat, the venue where it all started.

“...‘Mistakes and Memories’. ‘Blood on Your Harem’, ‘Stay’ and ‘Same Old Story’ all completely brought that heavy rock vibe that Armed in Advance are now synonymous for to the stage.” Sarah Kidd, Ambient Light.

...The sound these guys create is huge and JP is backed by one of the best rhythm sections in NZ right now. Solid, tight and full of energy. Paul Goddard, Muzic.net.nz

Also joining the line up are two of Auckland’s hardest working, up-and-coming acts, Fallstate and Animalhead.

February 2016 saw the first ever Fallstate show, on the same day, their debut album Summer Nights and City Lights was released. They have since played countless shows across the country and most recently in Australia with band brothers Fire for Glory. In August 2016, the band entered and won the Ding Dong Lounge's bands competition and are now supporting their new single, “Epilogue”.

Animalhead are Ding Dong’s ‘battle of the band’ winners for 2017, and round out the line up with a full sounding, tight and frenetic live show, check out their debut single ‘The Devil Told Me So’ recorded with Dave Rhodes at Depot Sound.
