This May marks the 38th anniversary of the passing of Ian Curtis.
Ian was the singer/lyricist of seminal post-punk band JOY DIVISION.
Come along and celebrate the music of JOY DIVISION performed authentically live by Christchurch band PERMANENCE.

PERMANENCE was formed in late 2008 to initially perform a one off show of JOY DIVISION covers. The response was so great they have played numerous shows since, but went on break in 2016. To mark the 38th anniversary they decided to dust off their instruments one more time. These will be the only performances of 2018 so don't miss out.

..My initial reservations concerning authenticity, nostalgia and generally feeling ancient are thrown out the window, however, by the technical and artistic brilliance of this band – called Permanence..
