X-Features with Imploder, Best Left Bent, The Domestics, Dj Demeath

A strange thing is happening at the Waiheke RSA War Memorial Hall in Ostend, with seminal post-punk legends X-Features heading to 'the rock' for the first time for some pre-Xmas ear rattling.

As The Features they released some of the most influential tracks in NZ alternative music history, indelibly etched into the generation of bands that grew up on the AK79 compilation. Last year saw the release of the X-Features album on Flying Nun Records. The current line-up includes original members Jed Town (also of Fetus Productions, Ghost Town) and Waiheke homeboy Chris Orange.

The night will also see the long awaited re-establishment of stoner-pop grunge explosion - Imploder, Waiheke scuzz-punk freaks Best Left Bent, The Domestics, DJ DeMeath, and special guests.

Food will be available and there will be a cash bar. Music from 7pm-12pm.
