Mount Maunganui Summer Soiree

The Mount Maunganui Summer Soiree is mixing you up a fine beverage of jazz, indie rock and a splash of hip-hop to get you feeling groovy on a March summer evening. Featuring The Leers, Molly + The Chromatics and Round Buddah, the Soiree will go down in the sensational location of Mount Manganui on Saturday 9 March.

Mount Maunganui is nestled on one of the many beautiful beaches in Aotearoa. We'd love to keep it that way, so we’re donating a portion of the proceeds to the legends at Sustainable Coastlines.

Performing at the Summer Soiree we have:

The Leers – These guys have been dishing up some new music of late, and there is only one way to describe it all – bangers! The Leers are bold, relaxed, expressive and head bobbing all at the same time. We’re excited to hear what they have been cooking up in 2018 and see them perform in their home town of Mount Maunganui.

Molly + The Chromatics – These musical magicians have recently finished a 10 show tour filling up the floors across NZ and preaching their hearty summer beats. Lucky for us, they have reserved the Soiree for their extra special appearance in Mount Maunganui to wrap up the summer! M+TC have an amazing ability to revitalise jazzy soul into relatable tunes - they are the definition of groovy. We can’t wait to get freaky on the dance floor to their energetic rhythms!

Round Buddah – They're a five-piece hip-hop/neo-soul group full of peaceful energy and we’re grateful they are here with us on Earth! Their bouncy beats are layered with vocals that are at times silky smooth, at times biting and incisive, and altogether demanding their audience stays on the line.
