Been around since?
Our first gig was opening the Disasteradio/Kill Surf City ‘Low Hum’ tour in May 2006, so we’re still toddlers, but confident toddlers.

Current line up?
Stephen Parry (Bass, Offbeat originator) + Tim van Dammen (Drums, claps, tom foolery, jiggery pokery, unbridled enthusiasm) + James Brennan (Guitar, bvs, solos) + Steve Mathieson (Vocals , Guitar, 3 Tee Shirts)

Where are you based?
Auckland.

Your current label is?
None.

Musical history? What were you listening to back in high school?
The usual suspects… Pavement, The Clean, Pixies, 3D’s, Daft Punk, Rage Against The Machine and Tragic Kingdom by No Doubt.

The state of music in NZ is..?
Some of it is pretty amazing. A lot of it is crap. Unfortunately, as the laws of nature determine: shit floats to the top.

What’s your favourite place to play?
Dunedin!

What was your favourite show?
Dunedin! (On the Low Hum tour).

What is your recording process?
Essentially we scam free recording time where we can and get as many songs down live as humanly possible in one night.. Then we get Dale Cotton to fix them up and make them sound good.

What's been your best recording experience?
Our most recent recordings with Rachel Wakey went pretty well I thought.

What’s been your worst recording experience?

The ones that started at 10pm and finished at 7am.

Favorite radio show/station?

bFM, Monday mornings 1-3am.

The Future holds…?
Touring with our buddies Teenwolf, Kill Surf City and the Whipping Cats in early Feb and releasing our EP… Dunedin Orientation mid Feb and then recording our album after all that with Dale Cotton… then heaps more.
