Tally Ho - Historical NZ Music Website (re) launched

Tuesday 5th May, 2009 12:00PM is a great site to browse through some of NZ Music's finest moments, with gig art from Toy Love, Kiwi Animal, The Clean, Flesh DVice, Headless Chickens and The Skeptics and a heck load more.Check it out!

Originally launched into cyberspace in 2008 with little fanfare, the site has been refocused and redesigned based on feedback and a slight improvement in the designer’s skills.

The website is an ever expanding digital Internet archive/gallery of artwork by selected New Zealand Artists from the 1970s, 1980's and 1990's.

Drawn mainly from a personal collection it includes Posters, Hand Bills, Magazine Adverts and 'zine covers.

Even though the sites address is a Flying Nun reference, it encompasses artists from a wide range of genres, from punk to pop, the eclectic to the household.

An ever expanding collection, it does not claim to be the authority, rather it is one persons contribution (using the Internet) to fly the flag for New Zealand bands that have come before.

There will be constant additions to the site; a personal archive of 300+ items is still to be scanned and added, as well as a number of items sent to the site by contributors.
