Video: Kathleen Hanna Rambles, Discusses 'Smells Like Teen Spirit'

So the story goes that in 1990 feminist icon Kathleen Hanna and Kurt Cobain were hanging in Seattle with a bottle of Canadian Club and, having tagged a Conservative anti-abortion clinic proceed to return to Cobain's flat where Hannah wrote incomprehensible slogans all over the walls. Cobain however, took one to heart, and from the line 'Kurt Cobain Smells Like Teen Spirit' penned the most famous track of the Grunge era.

In this video Hanna is performing as part of the Our Hit Parade tour series and is honest and hilarious and even gives a cover of the aforementioned song a go to rapturous applause.
