Perth Kick-Off September 8th 2007 Marks First Australian and New Zealand Dates in 'Dan History

STEELY DAN fever hops another continent when legendary jazz-rock icons Donald Fagen and Walter Becker bring their renowned 10-piece band to Australia and New Zealand for the first time in Steely Dan's 35-year history. The 2007 Heavy Rollers Tour opens its historic leg on September 8th in Perth, also hitting Adelaide, Canberra, Brisbane, Hunter Valley, Sydney and Melbourne before closers in Auckland and Christchurch, New Zealand. Tickets go on sale April 23 2007.

Starting as a 21-date swing of the U.S., The Heavy Rollers Tour expanded as promoters rushed to add more shows in response to ticket demand. A European leg was announced in March, and multiple-night stands in Japan were added soon after. Fagen and Becker are delighted that Steely Dan will now play for the Australian and New Zealand contingents as well.
