Flight of The Conchords Announce New Zealand Tour

Flight of The Conchords have announced a nationwide tour in June. A regular on the local touring circuit back in the day, this will be their first headline tour in yonks having been busy making a hit HBO series,  winning Grammys and Oscars, planning movies (rumour has it) and so on.

Tickets won't be around for long so don't dilly dally, here the dates.

FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS -TOUR OF NZ!

The rumours have been confirmed - Flight of the Conchords are touring the country.

Following the success of their self-titled HBO hit TV series, Flight of the Conchords have sold out tours across the United States and Europe performing at landmark venues like the Hollywood Bowl, New York’s Radio City Music Hall and London’s Wembley Arena. They’re finally bringing the live show back home with an extensive tour of New Zealand.

“It’s going to be great to play New Zealand again. I can’t wait to perform where people can understand our accents” said McKenzie.

“We’re looking forward to this tour, it’s a lot more convenient than going to another country isn’t it?” said Clement enthusiastically.

Their story is well known in New Zealand; TVNZ turned them down and HBO picked them up. Since then they’ve been nominated for Emmy Awards, they’ve won a Grammy Award, they’ve been on The Simpsons and they’ve met David Bowie (in a dream).

For New Zealand fans, the wait is over. This June is Business Time. Bret and Jemaine are going to Rock the Party. So leave your epileptic dogs at home cause there’ll be Too Many Dicks on a Dance Floor near you.
