Listen: St. Vincent - Krokodil / Grot

Annie Clark A.K.A St. Vincent recently played a couple of spectacular shows in New Zealand in support of her new album Strange Mercy. At the Auckland show she debuted a new track, called, 'Krokodil' and explained that it was appropriate to play it here because we like totally had crocodiles. Her geographical slip was more than made up for with her crowd surfing action during the new song, and considering that it's spelt like the nasty heroin substitute becoming an epidemic in Russia, it's heaviness compared to her earlier work seems more than appropriate. 'Krokodil' is the A side to St. Vincent's Record Store Day Release, while the B side is a track called 'Grot'. Check out both tracks below.
