RIP Beastie Boys' Adam Yauch

Founding member of the Beastie Boys' Adam Yauch aka MCA passed away over the weekend after a three year battle with cancer. In 2009 Yauch announced via a youtube clip that he had been diagnosed with throat cancer but this hardly seemed to slow him down - releasing new Beastie Boys album Hot Sauce Committee Part Two last year and some high profile films such as Exit Through The Gift Shop via his production company Oscilloscope Laboratories. With so much creative energy and at only 47 years young, his death is particularly saddening.
