Los Muertos debut album

Los Muertos debut album

Wednesday 12th March, 2008 7:31PM

2008 is set to be a big year for ElevenfiftySeven with new releases from Antagonist, Cobra Khan & Kitsch but 1st of the bat is the new addition of Auckland’s Los Muertos to the labels roster. The Los Muertos debut self titled album will be available at all good record stores and online through, Amplifier, Itunes (Globally), Digirama and selected other online music retailers from April 7th 2008.

Founded out of frustration and forged into friendship, Auckland based Los Muertos have worked hard over the past year to fuse their diverse musical lineage into an amalgamated sound that stretches back over the past 20 years of punk, hardcore, metal and rock.

Combining soaring guitars, crushing breakdowns and driving riffs interplayed with not only the socially aware and politically minded lyrics Los Muertos is dripping with conviction and delivers everything wrapped in a sense of urgency you can't ignore.

The past year has seen Los Muertos take to the stage along side esteemed peers The Bleeders, Cobra Khan, Kitsch, and Antagonist along with securing support slots for touring international artists Thrice (USA) and Behind Crimson Eyes (Aus) along with a slot on the 2008 Killerfest.

Armed with an arsenal of big riffs, thundering bass and a new found direction, Los Muertos is ready to make 2008 a year they won't forget.
