The DHDFDs Take On Japan
Auckland band The DHDFDs are heading off on a two week tour of Japan with The King Brothers and Watusi Zombie this September.
The DHDFDs played two shows with The King Brothers last year and obviously made quite an impression being invited by TKB to tour Japan with them and friends Watusi Zombie.
The boys have been fundraising like crazy for the tour with good old-fashioned BBQs and cake stalls (yes that explains why you’ve seen people stuffing their face with cake at their shows of late). They have two more fundraising shows coming up at the Basement Theatre on 23rd August. One is an all ages show kicking off at 4pm with support from People People and The Incident and another R18 show later that night with Charlie Ash.
If this wasn’t excitement enough, their second EP "Fromage Du Pouvoir" will be coming out very soon, so keep an eye out for that and celebrations at 4.20 on 29th August.
