As the title suggests this album kicks off with some Chinese gong sounding things, into a light swirly loop of hum and filtered drum machines. A little weird.
I'm 2 minutes in and we’re already up to song 3, but that’s how this album is going to go, all 21 tracks.
It’s like free-jam with homemade instruments, and unintelligible vocals trying to explain themselves. The rhythm you’d swear is out of time, but it does manage to sync back in at its own pace.
It’s colourful, light, a little too hippy, but not a bad listen.
