Sairalei (say-ra-lay) has been forging their own path ever since forming in late 2006,
building a reputation as a powerful live act with a strong DIY mentality.
The full testament of this can be seen in Sairalei’s first release entitled ’Birds of Passage,’
which was released on October 3 2009. Entirely self produced, recorded, mixed and mastered,
this mini concept EP based on drifting through the desert on the Mexican Day of the Dead (El Día de los Muertos)
is an independent release in the truest sense. Using a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No
Derivative Works Licence, the band has made ’Birds of Passage’ free for anyone to download and
share - too cool right?
