With Special Guests:

The Jason McIver Collective is the songwriting vision of Taupo based, Motueka born musician Jason McIver. The JMC have had a a great ride since their 2014 inception. Enjoying rave reviews and national Top 20 chartings for both The Big Blue e.p and 2016s I May No Perf. The JMC performs as anything from a solo act, duo, trio and full 5 piece band and recently Jason, Matt and Johnny were honoured to perform at TedX Tauranga to over 700 people. If we had to sum up the music of The JMC it would be a blend of blues inspired folk/rock with a twist of dub. It's a summer time jam!!!

Based out Palmerston North, New Zealand, Dick Tracy features hard rock roots, repetitive melodic phrasing, extensive vamping, blues influences, a vocal-centric aesthetic and ultimately embodies the anything-goes spirit of classic rock with their heavy stoner-influenced grooves. The four members of Dick Tracy have prided themselves on the idea that their different backgrounds, influences and ideas create a unique sound which has been recognised when being picked by Internationally acclaimed musician and producer, Tiki Taane to record and produce their first single.
