Jake Nelson is pumped to host his first ever live show at Hamilton's Nivara Lounge on the 22nd of March. Performing alongside him will be the talented Benjis Palace.
Jake has just recently come off performing at one of the biggest Christian music events being Festival One! Also locally performing at the Farmers Markets. And performing his music at shows and events. It has been an incredible start to the year for Jake, writing songs, composing performing. And now headlining his first show in Hamilton. Jake will be performing a mix of songs and covers, recently coming off his released single 'Passion and Play'.
In much the same way that a palace has many rooms, Benji’s Palace is where Benji’s influences, feelings, thoughts, opinions, shortcomings and triumphs can come together to share a space.
A veteran of gigs beyond counting, Benji was an established performer alongside bands such as DOONS, Freyja and Solomon Crook before taking the plunge towards his solo career in late 2022.
Benji writes, records and produces the music in his home studio, taking inspiration from indie, alternative, folk, rock and jazz artists alike. Benji's latest release I know, I Don't is one of many songs he has released, as he looks to perform them live.
Jake and Benji have both separately opened for many popular artists and played in multiple shows . And are now excited to team up and perform their songs besides each other!
