US electronic artist Oneohtrix Point Never (Daniel Lopatin) has unveiled his artful latest collection Age Of, the producer's first long-player since 2015's celebrated and oblique album Garden Of Delete. Lopatin's latest record takes listeners on a time-travelling journey through baroque synths, cinematic New Age soundscapes, and destabilising electronic rhythms, sounding like an uneasy mix of the soundtracks to Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves, Barry Lyndon, and Black Panther. Moments even touch on similar aesthetic territory to Kody Nielson's excellent recent album Birthday Suite, wrap your mind around Age Of below...
