Masters of keeping fans on their toes, Chromatics have unveiled a brand new album named Closer To Grey, which apparently is not the US group's near mythical, long-promised Dear Tommy but an entirely different set of tunes. Production wizard Johnny Jewel and singer Ruth Radelet's twelve track shock-drop definitely delivers the goods, conjuring cinematic worlds of melodrama and mystery via their stylish Italo and Carpenter-inflected take on electronic pop.
