It's been a couple of months since US guitar-pop songwriter Jay Som released her glorious third album Anak Ko ('My child' in Tagalog), and the flood of praise is still flowing as she tours and promotes the album. Jay Som, the moniker of Melina Duterte, was joined by her band for four live tracks, and an in-depth interview about the creative process behind Anak Ko and the fear of living up to her acclaimed 2017 album Everybody Works. Jay Som ventures to Aotearoa for the first time in February, bringing her lush indie-pop to Tāmaki Makaurau's Neck Of The Woods for a one-off headline event.
