Watch Contenders Cover The Bludgers' 'Sh*t Factory'

C.C. / Wednesday 22nd April, 2020 9:27AM

Inarguably one of Aotearoa's most explosive live groups, Hamilton punks Contenders threw down a helluva set at Pōneke's Newtown Festival, which happened in early March but feels like a hazy memory in our current lockdown era. They've revealed awesome black and white live footage from that Sunday afternoon show outside of Creeps Record Parlour, featuring the Cilla Kinnaird-fronted band busting out a breakneck version of The Bludgers' 'Shit Factory' while the crowd goes nuts (eagle eyed viewers can spot our sunglasses-wearing editor near the front).
