Divide And Dissolve Share Single 'RVR'

Visitors to Aotearoa in 2018, playing support for Unknown Mortal Orchestra and headlining their own North Island tour, Kulin Nation's (Melbourne, Victoria) instrumental drone / doom duo Divide and Dissolve are never less than politically and sonically uncompromising. The team of Takiaya Reed and Sylvie Nehill have unveiled 'RVR', the slow motion riff-crushing A-side to a new 7" vinyl record titled TFW, described by the band as "a humble and demanding petition for Indigenous Sovereignty, decolonization in all it's formations, our connection with the Earth, Water, Life, people and our responsibilities." Read the full accompanying statement from the pair sharing the record's crucial message below and preorder your own copy via their Bandcamp page here...

"TFW is a beginning.

A pathway for Divide and Dissolve. When we first met one of the first pieces of information we chose to share with each other is that we are Indigenous.

TFW is a map we created to fight the dispossession that we both experience and strive to negate. It is a humble and demanding petition for Indigenous Sovereignty, decolonization in all it's formations, our connection with the Earth, Water, Life, people and our responsibilities.

TFW is a manifestation of our resistance to colonization, slavery, racism, the carceral state, imperialism, and oppressive power structures and idealogies."

'TFW' is out on Friday 7th August digitally and on 7" vinyl via Saddle Creek.
