Amamelia Announces 'WOW!' Debut Album Release Show

A month's warning for Amamelia's album release show is graciously welcomed, as like a long distance runner prepares for their marathon, I must undergo training to take me from lockdown-level laziness to all night boogie stamina. Adding to the WOW! drop day festivities are fellow Tāmaki Makaurau fun makers Tei., Totems and Power Nap, providing non-stop club beats and groovers from the word go. Out early October on fine local imprint Sunreturn, WOW! will be Amelia Berry's (Fimo, Babyteeth) debut long player as Amamelia, an opus fans eagerly await, already hooked on teaser singles 'Sad And Lonely', sounding like a b-side from The Beach soundtrack, and synthy house track 'So Good'. Amamelia is the musical project of Amelia Berry, a musician and songwriter currently based in Tāmaki Makaurau. Amamelia's music combines breaks normally found in Jungle & Drum & Bass with a sugary synthetic pop sensibility.

Amamelia's debut album 'WOW!', will be released on October 2 via Sunreturn and to celebrate she will perform at Whammy Backroom alongside Power Nap, Tei. and Totems.
