Flying Nun sonic travellers The Subliminals are reissuing their long out of print 2000 debut album United State in an upcoming vinyl-only edition. Celebrating in style the 20th anniversary of the team of Steve Reay, Simon Maclaren, Jared Johanson and Brendan Moran's hugely impactful breakout record (described by Russell Baillie when it first launched as “a real mindbender"), The Subliminals are returning to local stages "in a reunited state" for a very special headline event at Tāmaki Makaurau's Whammy Bar on day of re-release on Friday 6th November. Including all eleven tracks from the album remastered for vinyl by original engineer Tex Houston, notably re-ordered for optimal playback and pressed to heavyweight 180g black vinyl at Aotearoa's Holiday Records, the swanky new physical edition of United State will certainly be an object to cherish for the ages and is available for pre-orders now.
