Unless you've been dwelling in some kind of media blackout zone, sealed inside a Zorb-like plastic bubble on a small island far away from the hottest breaking music news, you'll already know The Beths are wrapping up their Jump Rope Gazers album launch tour of NZ this weekend with an all-ages headline extravaganza at Auckland Town Hall. The Tāmaki team of Elizabeth Stokes, Jonathan Pearce, Ben Sinclair and Tristan Deck played a snappy two song "virtual in-store performance" for US record store Amoeba Music Hollywood, hosted late last week on the shop's Instagram page and originally recorded before The Beths' Pōneke gig at San Fran. The four-piece beamed out newly coined classics from their latest record, 'Out of Sight' and 'Mars, the God of War', and it should come as no surprise the performance was top notch, filmed and edited by Callum Devlin (Hans Pucket, Sports Team).
