Tāmaki Makaurau electronic duo Substax have moved into the next phase of their master plan for 2021 with 'Red Balloon', the second in a new ongoing series of single releases. Pouring blissful memories of youth into a nostalgic sonic cauldron, producer Nick Farrands (co-runner of boutique club night Videotech) and vocalist / producer Claudia Gunn pack plenty of rhythmic heft into the speaker-rattling club track, released alongside a summery visualiser clip for the song's radio edit. Truth DK's extended remix of 'Red Balloon' completes the package, taking the track into appropriately island-friendly Balearic / ambient zones — hit play on the vid and listen below...
