Listen To Same Name Confusion's 'Zipping / Unzipping' EP
As all good things must do, Same Name Confusion has come to an explosive, alt-pop ending, sharing final EP Zipping / Unzipping to mark more than five years of vibrant performances and catchy tunes. The band had planned to build on the infectious energy of single 'ESP (Telepathy)' since its release last year, but were blown off course when lockdown struck once again. Some long distance collaborating and backyard tent recording later, Zipping / Unzipping boasts three brand new tracks from the Pōneke quintet, made with help from Pōneke engineering gem James Goldsmith. Frank, dry and funky, lead vocalist Luke Courtney guides you through the band's tight, toe-tapping jams, with poetic lyrics on the likes of title track inspired by a therapeutic assignment to write down 50 things you like. Listen here, and join me in manifesting a Same Name Confusion farewell tour...
Same Name Confusion's final EP 'Zipping/Unzipping' is out now on streaming services.
