Miles Calder Shares Video For 'Pushing & Pulling'
Presently midway through his nationwide tour, 2022 Best Folk Artist finalist Miles Calder shares the official video for his new single ‘Pushing & Pulling’. Directed by Matilda Boese-Wong, edited by Martin Sagadin (who also co-produced the clip) and shot entirely on 16mm film by Ezra Simons (Earth Tongue), the leafy visuals tint the world with the emotions of a burgeoning love. Calder’s bold, primary coloured outfits pop against the browns and greens of Newtown's Truby King Park forest as he sings, “As long as I want you I’ll put myself through it all.” Such love is as exciting as the prospect of a mail delivery, yet as disappointing at finding an empty letterbox.
You can catch Calder performing as an acoustic duo with guitarist Chris Armour throughout Aotearoa on the songwriter's slightly rejigged single release tour this winter.
