Premiere: Grecco Romank Unveil New Single '2 Hot 2 Hunt' + Visualiser
“Oh, this heat’s got me in a prone hold. It’s too hot. It’s too hot to hunt” declares Grecco Romank's sprechgesang spurting Mikey Sperring, huskily guiding us deep into the Tāmaki Makaurau trio's fever-dream anthem '2 Hot 2 Hunt', which we're proud to premiere here today. There's nothing tentative about this tune — producer Damian Golfinopoulos' piston-like EBM percussion, Gatecrasher-era rave stabs and slithering synths whip dancers into uninhibited frenzy, while Billie Fee’s vocal operatics keep the "roach pit" burning and turning to the rhythm.
An irresistible force onstage and off, the 2023 SRN Award-winning combo will soon be delivering the goods at Ōhinehou / Lyttelton's multi-venue Port Noise Festival, alongside forthcoming appearances at Camp A Low Hum and Splore.
