Weekly Round Up: Friday 10th April

Friday 10th April, 2015 2:56PM

A few tour announcements came rolling in today to round out the week. In terms of international visitors, AC/DC have revealed they are returning to New Zealand in December as part of their Rock Or Bust World Tour, no word on the actual dates yet but fans are being advised to join the waiting list to find out. A little closer to home, Christchurch-formed group Yumi Zouma are teaming up with their hometown pals Doprah for a five-date tour of the country that kicks off at the end of the month. Auckland rap duo Heavy announced a four-stop tour to celebrate the release of their forthcoming album Lock In. And The Eastern's Adam McGrath is taking a 10-date solo jaunt around the country starting tonight in Rotorua.

In release news, Kody Nielson revealed his new musical project under the name Silicon and shared the first single, 'God Emoji' as well as announcing a show at Auckland venue Neck Of The Woods next month. Energetic four-piece Miss June let loose 'Matriarchy', the first single from their forthcoming debut EP of the same name. Christchurch-based synth siren Instant Fantasy (aka Gemma Syme) unveiled The Wet EP, ahead of a five-date tour with Misfit Mod and Lttle Phnx later this month. And relative newcomers New Gum Sarn shared a striking radio edit of their single 'Money Talks', which will be appearing in longer-form on their forthcoming album New Gold Mountain.

This week's Caught Live is St Vincent performing new track 'Teenage Talk' on The Tonight Show...
