About Ash Graham from Wellington
Ash Graham is a young and upcoming singer songwriter and lives with his family on the Kapiti Coast.
Ash didn't choose music, music choose him. His interest in playing guitar started at 4 years of age and at 6 years of age he was given his first guitar. Ash's interest in music and song writing was further encouraged when he joined Wellington School of Rock and became part of a young band called "Hybrid". Ash was the lead guitarist and also shared the vocal duties.
Highlights this year include featuring on the Mental Health Awareness week song written by Ryan Edwards called Drifting Tonight, Ash wrote and sings the third verse and also provides some of the backing vocals. Ash's biggest moment in his songwriting career was placing 3rd in the Play It Strange secondary schools songwriting competition.
