Wellington-based Yiddish and European folk band the Klezmer Rebs bring their infectious and yes sometimes “shmaltzy” old world music to Palmerston North for two shows on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 January 2010.
The 8 piece ‘Rebs’, featuring clarinet, trumpet, trombone, accordion, violin, piano and guitar/mandolin, on their first visit to Palmerston North, will wow diners at the Bent Horseshoe Café on Saturday night the 16th of January and then play a free concert at the Palmerston North City Library at 2pm on Sunday the 17th of January.
