Wellington-based Yiddish and European folk band the Klezmer Rebs bring their infectious and yes sometimes “shmaltzy” old world music to Wanganui on Sunday 2 May 2010.
The 8 piece ‘Rebs’, featuring clarinet, trumpet, trombone, accordion, violin, piano and guitar/mandolin, on their first visit to Wanganui, will wow the locals at the RSA at 170 St Hill Street as part of the Wanganui Jazz Club’s Sunday night concert series.
So come out and see 2 full hours of authentic European folk music starting at 6.30pm Sunday 2 May at the Wanganui RSA, 170 St Hill Street. Door charges are Wanganui Jazz Club members $10, non-members $15, secondary school students $5.
