The Volunteers is comprised of talented Wellington musicians with three soulful female vocalists.
With upbeat, bass driven funk, soul styled harmonies reminiscent of Ray Charles and piano ballads likened to Nick Cave, their original new vintage sound is described as a fusion of funk, soul and rock and roll.
