Not since the mighty Sepultura rose to the top of the heavy metal kingdom well over a decade ago has Brazil produced a band of such revolutionary full-throttle heaviness as Sao Paulo's KRISIUN.

Known the metal world over for their unwavering dedication to constant touring in a career that now spans over ten albums, including 2000's much-heralded 'Conquerors of Armageddon', the three brothers Camargo and their skull-splitting sonic assault make their long-awaited debut appearance in New Zealand; one of the few territories these true road warriors have yet to invade.

With their latest album, 2008's 'Southern Storm', Krisiun continue to deliver an audiological blunt force trauma rivaled by few. With breakneck speed to match their doom-laden riffs and morbid lyrical imagery, this is a band finely honed to a dark artform.

With New Zealand support from European tourmates Dawn of Azazel, this promises to be an Anzac weekend where remembering the fallen takes a backseat to total metal warfare!
